jaja seriously? the 6.1 stock rom works much better. only custom roms that had abnormal behavior were vins neodium (9/15) and lead rom (10/24) but both those are in process of being fixed. u must not have been flashing them right because all the custom roms i was on were more stable than the stock 6.5 rom.

Re: Sprint TP2 starting over... looking for advice

Custom ROM's are nice and can be very fast. However, in my limited experience there is always something that doesn't work right. Could be TV, messaging issues, email or anything. Every custom ROM I have flashed had at least one issue with it. My advice, use stock 6.5 with the ChainFire turbo driver FTW....driver is available on xda or you can pay at windows marketplace. xda download deserves donation, it is that good! Smooth, fast and everything works......just my 2 cents...

jaja WOW!! another menos de cincuenta trying to say that the stock 6.5 is better than custom roms or even the stock 6.1,that driver may speed things up but it still wont help the SODs and missing component issues that are in that rom.

Re: Sprint TP2 starting over... looking for advice

To everybody who wants to compare stock roms to custom roms. The truth is, there is no better rom. If the stock rom was perfect, there would be no need for a custom rom. If the custom roms were perfect, they wouldnt need to be updated everyday and there wouldn't be 1000's of chefs. The dude who started this thread was a business man who wants his phone to run stable. If you go into the custom rom world, you have to always update and always check what rom is better. Not everyone has the time or patience. Its that simple. I have been in the custom rom world since my trusty mogul. Its fun to always put a new rom on, but its not for everyone.

Re: Sprint TP2 starting over... looking for advice

wow thats a very interesting change of and contradicting stance menos de cincuenta. the stock 6.1 rom is more stable than the stock 6.5 or any custom roms that were made from build 21889, but the 21916 builds of 6.5 are just as stable as the stock 6.1 rom or the custom 6.1 roms with higher builds (21056 and 21057).

That answers everyone's question. Well actually you havent taken a stance at all. What rom is the best to use thats the most stable, thats what the thread is about. I would say use the sprint 6.5 rom if you dont want to install new roms everyday. Best custom rom, mediumhill. jajaja

None of the garbage you talk about here has been my experience. If it was I would not have shared the info. I was responding to the original post, not you and your 2 cents. You are entitled to your opinion and I will respect it.....and I am entitled to mine without your disrespectful garbage attached.....stock 6.5 is stable, in my opinion, and would best meet the OP needs as I understand them....his ultimate ROM experience may or may not be the same as mine. Infantile commentary assists no one......

i did offer my stance i said that any 21916 6.5 custom rom is very stable and are almost as stable and reliable as the stock 6.1 rom.

Re: Sprint TP2 starting over... looking for advice

Usually Im ignoring this kind of discussions but honestly, whats up with WM 6.1,WM 6.5?

WM 6.5.5 is rock solid. If somebody dont beleave it-oh well,it their problem lol (for more info read my signature)

Unfortunately Chainfire driver doesnt work on TP2 at all.
I even PM him few months ago with the bounty thread offer..but the guy using HD2.It will not accelerate a single frame.

SAY "YES" to WM 6.5.5 !!!

btw happy Turkey Day everyone
