Re: Ill try not to be confusing
Your phone will not work on AT&T.
Unless there is something I am missing AT&T is still a GSM Network. (SIM Card) Verizon Is a CDMA Network. No SIM Although the Verizon Touch Pro2 has a SIM Card, That is used exclusively for Non U.S.A. roaming. (Europe, Asia...) That is why there are 2 sections in this forum for Rom Upgrades. GSM and CDMA. Save your Phone and your friendship learn the basics, or flash the phone with a GSM ROM, thereby bricking it, then sell it to your friend as a paperweight.

It's like a movement with people spouting ignorant comments with such fervor about how a CDMA company TP2 model cannot be used with a GSM sim card. Doesn't people care anymore to read the sticky threads before posting, at least the titles like "[SIM-UNLOCKER]". Last edited by Kevinik; 11-03-2010 at 02:40 AM. |

Re: Ill try not to be confusing
I was wondering the same things as a friend of mine has a Sprint TouchPro2 on a AT&T network. is he limited to only EDGE, or is there a way to enable 3G internet?
