Disable Mute Button LED

I had my TP2 dropped in water. It was acting crazy I was sure it was a goner.

Many months later, now it works again. Everything is functional, touch, keyboard, everything. With the exception of thing. The LED on the mute button in the back remains on all of the time. This puts a huge drain on the battery. A full charge will not even last the whole day even in standby mode.

Is there a cab available to disable that LED altogether? Thanks.
