tp2 can not charge with energy rom - Page 2

I have the same issue. IT is not the System > Power setting either. I have a refurbished unit and it doesn't allow me to charge unless I have a stock ROM installed. I don't know how to convince Sprint I have a defective unit if it works with the stock ROM.

Yes ^ that's exactly what im experiencing. it charges with the stock rom, but doesn't charge once a custom rom is installed. im think it's something with the registry settings?

the phone charges with the phone off (red led is on) and even partially into the load screen. but once sense start firing off, the led turns off.

I bet its that 1% increment driver. Its probably built into Energy ROM. I have a problem that whenever I install the 1% increment driver, it won't charge anymore, which would explain why your phone charges while its off and no drivers are loaded.

^ that sounds like a good theory. hmm. how would i test this? how can i remove the 1% increment driver from the energy rom?

I'm having this exact problem being described here by others...I had my original tp2 replaced from sprint two weeks ago because one of my keyboard keys went out....got my replacement and then noticed that the ear volume piece was really low compared to other tp2(I never bothered to unlock&flash) so this week I got another replacement and I unlocked and decided to give energyRom a try after having used MR.X Rom for soo long...

So when I finished flashing EngeryRom I noticed my phone wasn't charging...flashed to MR.X thinking its was just the rom but MR.X rom also wouldn't charge anymore. So i hard reset a few times nothing...Put on Sprint stock rom so I could take it in for service but sprints rom does charge!

its driving me crazy what could i do to fix this? I have been trying all day....

hope someone can help.

if you guys are getting the USB to PC pop-up instead of it charging, i still say just reset the phone while it on the charger and charger is plugged in... should be fine once it turns back on.... i correct my own personal issues on NRG all the time doing this.... evn for my car charger as well
