Run task29 or reflash the shipped 6.1 rom.
Then make sure you have the CDMA version of the Energy Rom you want to flash. Then put it in bootloader and flash it then hard reset.
^ tried installing to 6.5 rom and then installing energy. still not charging.
also tried installing 6.1 rom and then installing energy. still not charging.

^ i tried this also with 3 chargers (two 1A, 500mA). still no go =\
Bummer!
I'd say you have a hardware problem there. Replacement time?

Under Settings -> System -> Power, is the box checked that says do not charge battery when connected to pc?

Re: tp2 can not charge with energy rom

I have the same issue. IT is not the System > Power setting either. I have a refurbished unit and it doesn't allow me to charge unless I have a stock ROM installed. I don't know how to convince Sprint I have a defective unit if it works with the stock ROM.

Yes ^ that's exactly what im experiencing. it charges with the stock rom, but doesn't charge once a custom rom is installed. im think it's something with the registry settings?

the phone charges with the phone off (red led is on) and even partially into the load screen. but once sense start firing off, the led turns off.

Re: tp2 can not charge with energy rom

I bet its that 1% increment driver. Its probably built into Energy ROM. I have a problem that whenever I install the 1% increment driver, it won't charge anymore, which would explain why your phone charges while its off and no drivers are loaded.

i dont know how to do that since its cooked in but if you can find the driver by itself and install it, thatd be another way to test it.

You could be on to something there. More likely though, the problem could also be due to the nuepower files that enable fast charge and the other power saving/control features.

Re: tp2 can not charge with energy rom

I don't think that is it but I do believe it has to do with battery drivers because installing nueBattery on my stock rom caused the same effect. I used Silence/Super ROM 15 and that doesn't have the 1% battery driver in it and it still has issues.
