Re: Newbie here

Well guys, i am familiar with flashing, or at least the process was easy enough with my old samsung omnia. i even managed to make my own rom. I am not very familiar with this new phone as i just bought it about a month ago. i am just making sure all the procedures are the same so that i dont ruin my phone. So to all the haters out there, back off. if you are gonna put out negative statements, keep them to yourself.

Exactly right. I'm not trying to scare him away, I'm trying to scare him into getting more info. I see newbs with few posts come in here and XDA and already they are wanting to flash a ROM before they even know what's involved or much about their phone. HardSPL is a game changer for someone coming from a phone that doesn't need it and the potential for messing up is greater because of it. I would rather give someone pause to think it over and get more info then send them down the road with an ass full of sunshine and no clue. No hating, just keeping it real.
