With the Kensington, when you say RCA, do you mean a singular 3.5mm plug?

Perhaps I should start a whole new thread inquiring generally about what kind of charging/transmitting set-up people have with their TP2.
Yw, just trying to save you some grief.

I'd stay away from dual transmitter/chargers...seems like the charger can generate noise...just saying.

Yeah, 3.5mm RCA plug...

Funny, you had me shopping again. My Kensingtons are for ipods. Just realized my dome DVD player has RCA jacks, so I hooked my TP2 up via my video/audio cable, and holy crap! Done!

CHeck out Meritline for holders. This is one, look at the bottom of the page for others. The vent holder is pretty cheap, but if you're gentle with it, it'll last a long time & won't leave marks.

GL!

Thanks again. The quest continues. Man, a direct RCA line into the console would be boss, but it's just not in the cards. Do you have any thoughts about bluetooth-type transmitters? Something like this maybe? Kinda pricey, but it gets good reviews, and seems to duck the whole powering-while-transmitting static potential...

BT? I wouldn't, bro. BT just adds another wireless jump, which can add more noise and/or degrade the signal. Hell, my TP2's BT performance pretty much sucks.

I'd stick to a single FM transmitter that directly connects via 3.5.

Yes, Sensei. I guess our dreams of a functioning transmitter/charger combo are for naught. In lieu of the direct line, it sounds like it'll have to be one or the other at any given time, as both is just too much clutter and too inconvenient. What a world!
