Re: So.... TP2 a dead platform?
here we go again, its HARDWARE not the OS.but of course a fandroid like u would think its the os. I have no problems at all on this WM6.1 rom I'm running and I may even make my own rom based off of it. I'm not moving on just because a couple of canadians did, who cares? its not the end of the world. only device I'm moving on to is an htc wp7 device with at least 16gb of storage.

And from what I have heard customizing the ui on WP7 is not gonna happen . Don't know if I want a phone that I can't customize to my desire.

Re: So.... TP2 a dead platform?
Dont get me wrong, I loved my TP2. I never needed to overclock and I had a nice clean ROM on it. The memory leak wasnt a hardware issue because it doesnt occur on any other phone that has that hardware.
Not only that with the dawn of winphone7 or whatever, anything with current hardware that is running windows is obsolete. I was actually against Android because it was total crap for a while and I had windows since 5. So I finally had found my perfect Rom combo and thought I was in the catbird seat. This was until my girlfriend got her Hero which had 2.0. I was amazed by how smooth everything worked with the same processor on a stock rom. No fanboy here, I just acknowledge good software when I see it. A real fanboy sticks with their crappy software and hardware even though there are better choices out there. |

Re: So.... TP2 a dead platform?
Really??? LMFAO.... you really don't have a clue what they did for this place do you? Not to put down any other chef, and I will give them all credit, but considering you state you may cook your own rom, you've obviously never even attempted what they've accomplished many times over, not just with the TP2 either... take a look at the TP, Diamond, etc and look at what they've done. I don't expect you to bail if any chef leaves this place, but honestly, there's no need to be disrespectful, seriously. Take a look at the thread for the stock ROM's I'm sure you've flashed many times, or the radios, or the MR2 rom for VZW users (keep in mind neither of them were even on VZW, it was done for the users here), the least you can do is show a little respect.
