Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Liddysue the .cab you need this cab on post #19 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...2-boost-2.html
boostmmsfix.cab just install it to your phones memory and do a softreset and you should be fine. Worse case just install a custom rom and follow the step by step above and it will work for sure. |

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Oh, whatever...I told you this was my first post & I'm not "technically" a geek, alright. I don't know what you call it but who really cares? The issue was that I could not get the picture mail to work & needed the directions to add a boost server setting, on a sprint phone. I finally found it elsewhere. For other people that are having the same problem, here it is:

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Whats not operating right with your phone?
Thats one of the reason we install custom roms because one major thing they bring is stability and better performance |

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Hello people. First off, I am looking to use a Touch Pro 2 on Boost Mobile. I currently have a Boost account, but it is for an iden phone, so a question came up for me. Does anyone know if we can port an old number, iden to cdma, ourselves on the boost mobile website somewhere? On my iden account, there is an "update handset" option, but there's nothing about going to cdma from there. I just don't want to deal with customer service if I don't have to.
Also Masetas, thanks for providing a guide. Much appreciated. I'm not sure what you mean by number 6 though. I'm pretty new with cell phone tech/knowledge, so yeah. |

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Your welcome for the guide.
You can port an Iden number to cdma at no cost but not sure if you can do it on the website yourself. Boost CS wont give you any hassle they will just do it all they will ask you for is what phone to transfer the account too. Once they answer it takes about 2minutes for the account to be transfered. *If i helped in anyway dont be shy to hit the thanks button* |

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
A IDEN number can be ported to Boost CDMA. You might need a cheapo CDMA phone though to get it done. Then, once done, call Boost and tell them you have some other cheapo CDMA phone, (dont say you have a TP2), and presto! No flashing like some scammers on craigslist state. Update your profile and Data should work. For MMS it really depends on what ROM you are in. Why flash to a new Rom? Faster phone, better battery life, more mods!

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost
Hey again guys. So I called customer service and had them port my number from iden to cdma. He said they were having some issues with the porting but that my line should be up and working within 3 hours. It's been almost 12 hours and my phone is not connected to Boost Mobile, any idea what's up? When I dial 611, it says "your account could not be validated".
