Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost

been thinking of switching to boost for a while now. How is they're service for voice/data compared to sprint? Figured it might be the same towers/ network, since Sprint owns boost.. ANyone know for sure?

Their service is the same as Sprint. Except you dont have to deal with contracts or any suprise charges. Ive been using boost for a while now and I havent had any complains. When my phone doesnt have any Sprint signal it roams to Verizon network and i dont get charged for that. Oh yeah and its all unlimited completely and you can tether as well for only $50 a month. Hope this helps

there is no way no how that boost will roam. since boost doesnt offer roaimng on the prepaid plans. actually none of the pepaid servces offer roaming. only if the have the same network inside of outside the US.. but boost it self will not roam at all.. trusst me. I even went to Puerto Rico and my boost phone worked on the sprint towers only. when it went into roaming mode on the verizon towers in this case CLARO wireless towers or CENTENIAL towers it wouldnt let me make a phone call AT ALL. it simply wouldnt work. here in Connecticut US same thing. my phone goes into verizon towers and still wont work. so i dont know here u got that from.. or if there is a fix i have no idea.

thanks for the reply masetaswell at least iam honest. i never dialed the 1 before the area code.. ill give that a try when ever this phone goes into roaming mode. but last i knew boost didnt roam. but yoiu never know if there is a trick. but all i remember is when i went on roaming mode i wasnt able to recieved or send SMS or MMS or not even able to recieve phone calls. i dont know if you were able to or not . but here in the US or in Puerto Rico when ever it goes into verizon roaming or roaming in general i wasnt able to send or recieved SMS , MMS or to recieve phone calls. if any help iam using sprint lovers ROM. i dont think a ROM should make a difference. but then again who knows...
