In my opinion, the best rom for everyday business use is the shipped 6.1 Rom tweaked for speed. It will be the most stable and most compatible rom.

Re: Best rom for business use

Not an expert, but I think horndoc's right there. 6.1 with or without sense should be pretty fast and reliable. 6.5 (or at least 6.5 running with sense) has this memory leak that will make the phone slow and chuggy after a few hours, requiring 1 or more resets every day.

I have been really happy with mightyrom, I noticed a performance improvement right away and I wasn't getting SOD/errors/crash, at least not until I overclocked it.

But you won't need to OC if you use the thing for business and don't load it with a bunch of unneeded apps and overdone themes. In fact even the stock rom people are hating on is responsive and stable if you just keep it to 2-3 apps at once, including a non-intensive web browser (latest opera mini is awesome). At least that was my experience, I used it for a couple of months with no problems, it only started getting slow when I started adding a bunch of stuff to the phone, once I discovered the joy of cabs.

OP... This is true to a point but over exaggerated. U wont have to reset everyday as long as u find a ROM that works well with your phone. On ANY ROM at some point u will have to Soft Reset because programs run & take up RAM to free it up u will have to Soft Reset. Seriously, try the ROMs out yourself because all these issues & claims about things arent true for EVERYONE. U really do have to find out for urself. The memory leak is true but not bad at all depending on which chef u get ur ROM from. & 6.1 is a great version, in my opinion but try for urself & see what results u come up with.

I think you're right. I never used the stock 6.1 but i just flashed it and it is the fastest. touchflow3d, so thats pretty old i guess cuz its not sense. but it is smoooth.

it may be hard for me to give up my quicklinks and other features that are in sense 2.5. but i'm really getting tired of flashing all the time and having so many bugs. maybe my phone is defective. It's always freezing and i'm not installing any cabs lately unrelated to spint stuff.,.. I dont have insureance either

You can certainly install one on the 6.1 rom if it doesn't have the app you want if that is what you are asking.
