I have since completely disabled the Peep tab. It slows down the whole phone. Started using TouchTwit/Azurea and it works fine but uses more battery with auto update enabled (in my experience) so kind of a trade off

Yep, started doing it again beginning Wednesday and still doesn't work.

Been using MoTweets gain, but still miss the convenience of the tab.
