Still getting 'NETWORK IS TEMPORARY NOT AVAILABLE' even the ERROR is written wrong!! HAHAH

I received a Tweet from HTC saying that Peep was now fixed but mine still isn't working. I've been using Twaddle since all this began & as it uses the new authentication, there have been no problems so far...

This whole thing is a crock of BS.... Unbelievable it's still not fixed yet.

funny how both HTC and Twitter say it's "fixed"....yet no one I know/or even heard of has it working again. wonder how long til it's fixed, if at all. at least motweets has been working great!

It's not working for me either. Although my dad and a friend of mine both have it working on their EVO's.

Methinks they've only fixed it for the Android OS, and have forgotten about us on Windows Mobile

Any updates on this getting fixed in WinMo? I like that tab and want it to work. I was hoping someone would have it fixed via an update or in a custom ROM.

We can't fix it

The error comes from Twitter's new authentication service that forbids unofficial twitter apps (including Peep) from accessing the Twitter servers. There's nothing a registry tweak, a custom ROM, or anything else can do to fix it since the error is coming from Twitter's side, not ours.

Now, according to Twitter's maintenance status update (see here: http://status.twitter.com/post/10501...mobile-clients) they say it's now fixed. But it apparently is only fixed for Android users, not Windows Mobile

Many have sent messages to HTC and Twitter about it, but no response on the issue from either of them in regards to Windows Mobile

If you ask me, I'd say Peep is cooked for good for those of us on Windows Mobile

Most things work EXCEPT the most important part... downloading and displaying tweets. I can get into my account and see details and people have said they can post a tweet(I don't post, just read), but it will not download and update the tweet listing.

As for we can't fix it, never say never with this crowd. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone hack peep and fix the issue. While Twiiter can fix this, it really is an HTC issue with not supporting the authentication method Twitter changed to, even tho it had been public knowledge for quite some time.
