Just flashed MightROM...XDA UC Customize not installing

Just joined the Custom Rom crowd with my first flash - MightyROM. Been lurking for a while and finally took the plunge. After setting up everything I had accumulated over the last 6 months, I can see the value in programs like XDA UC Customize and Sashimi for automating the set up after you flash ROM's. But this is where I'm getting stuck.

When I go into "Tools" in the start menu and click on the link for XDA UC Customize, it gives me the disclaimer telling me not to click yes until the end, yada yada yada. Then the next message I get after clicking ok is "XDA_UC has completed successfully, installation of CAB's, XML's, Manila files, registry edits, and signing of drivers has finished without errors. Save your work now & Press OK to continue then press Yes to soft reset". So I click OK and then Yes to soft reset, and then...nothing.

I can't find any trace of this program being installed. It's not in the start menu (other than the original link in tools that I'm referring to), it's not in the list of programs to uninstall, nothing.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am on MR (standard?) with sense 2.5.20132227.0, WinMo 6.5 on sprint, OS version is 5.2.21889.

are you sure that u have a folder on ur sd card labeled XDA_UC with the cabs in it? im 100% sure that you dont, cuz ive forgotten to name the folder myself sometimes lol, and the message " XDA_UC has completed successfully, installation of CAB's, XML's, Manila files, registry edits, and signing of drivers has finished without errors. Save your work now & Press OK to continue then press Yes to soft reset " comes up after its finished installing everything, and in ur case, if theres no folder, then it just thinks its done and asks you to soft reset

what is XDA UC anyways? i don't notice any change after a fresh flash and then running that app.

well then you dont have xda_uc set up then...its that simple!!!

the ROM supports it, doesnt mean you have it set up and ready to go and be implemented..

you need a folder called XDA_UC on the root of your storage card.. in said folder goes all your cabs, xmls, anything you want auto loaded...

you need to read the threads on XDA_UC, http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=113189 before you proceed..

I thought clicking the icon in the Tools folder installed an app...that is where I was getting lost. Now that I reread Ynyng's comment after reading your comments, I understand what he meant. It looks like I have a lot of reading to do...thanks Bored for pointing me in the right direction, that thread was what I was looking for.
