USB port needs repair

Something happened to my USB port, and I can not get the phone to charge unless I apply a slight counterclockwise twist to the charging cable.
Since I obviously cant hold the phone and cable for hours at a time, I am hoping one of you folks know of a repair option.

Is there a place I can send my phone to get a new USB port?
Or am I better off looking for a new phone on eBay (seems like such a waste).
