I had a similar problem with my old TP... I took it to a service cente and they told me the board was broken and insisted that I broke it by not taking care of my phone... They wanted to charge me the 100 buck deductible. I told them it was a defective phone and I wanted it replaced under warranty... stood my ground and demanded to speak to a manager who EVENTUALLY got tired of me and just wrote off the deductible and ordered me a replacement. LOL. Try it... You've got nothing to loose. Other than time.
