Wifi and Data speeds the same

I think the op is referring to using wifi access, however skyfire is not a good way to test since it's a proxied service.

have you checked the comm mgr to make sure the phone didn't trigger a data session?

Yes I did and it was not triggered. I get better speeds on data
that doesnt seem right. I have comcast cable 20meg download and 3 meg upload. guess the phone only goes so fast.
