Re: Can't talk on my phone
aiiee
Thanks for your reply. I didn't mean that downloading it triggered the antivirus. I just read in the unlocking threads that you have to have it disabled in order for it to work. I have only had ONE tp2, so I cannot have unlocked more than one phone. Donating was supposed to make it work instantly, so I did so, with no luck. I looked over the youtube videos of people unlocking the phone and yes, I really did read all the posts on the unlocking threads. "Read more carefully, you've got alot of details wrong" really isn't that helpful. I wrote that reply off the top of my head, without consulting the details that I PRINTED OUT and followed to the letter, as best I could. But to be honest, it didn't work at all. I am a relatively smart person, and know computers and phones, but this was beyond me. I gave up after working on it for more than 3 days in a row, waiting a week, then a couple more days. Anyway, the thread is about not being able to speak on the phone, not unlocking the phone...There are some threads where I have commented on my inability to unlock the phone. |

Re: Can't talk on my phone
I was getting errors as well (even after shutting down my antivirus)
what I did was, reboot my pc. then while it was loading (the SECOND I could see the desktop) open the HardSPL program (prior to everything on the PC loading). this would allow it to open, then I would just let it chill in the background (still open) while everything loaded. Then I connect my Rhodium and flashed it. I did this on a Sprint Rhodium400 with stock 6.5 and Manila 2.5.2012.

Re: Can't talk on my phone
I might try that after I get my replacement phone. Sprint is sending me a replacement for free... that insurance has saved me plenty of times... but it won't be here till Monday... however, I am going to use a headset (that worked...) till then.
