Sprint GSM TP2

Hi, i recently got the touch pro 2 as a replacement for my touch diamond and i noticed that i can switch between CDMA and GSM or Global I wanted to try to put it on GSM only but i get no networks at all when i press on select networks it brings up a white page with no networks on it is there anything that i can change to get GSM Networks instead of Sprint CDMA ? i have a sim card in the phone from sprint and i still dont get any GSM networks Any Help Would Be Great Thanks
