Sorry again bro, but your wrong again,
as I also duplicated your same problem on normal headphone jack as well..
On first insertion, it will come out low, but when you try:
Re-inserting either headphone (either plug or mini usb)
as many times as needed, untill you get the volume back up.

You can also notice it in phone calls.

If your TP2 still does not respond after these attemps,
I say you have a bad unit,
in the area when it detects the headphones..

If you have insurance i would goto Sprint and tell them your unit volume is low..
I truely believe you unit is defective, and it is not your usage of it,
since you stated in past you tried other roms with no difference.

Re: Sprint TP2 Volume Increase

I doubt very many people are still trying to improve the volume on their Touch Pro2s, but there are some of us. I installed the cab file (Kevintm_V4) and it made a big improvement! Probably 30% louder on both phone calls and music playing. The phone came up set to maximum volume right after the soft reset, and I never before turned it DOWN while listening to an outgoing call ringing. Thanks posted.
