Question Where did conferencing go in Verizon TP2 MR2 Update?

OK, so I took the plunge and updated to Sense 2.5 using the Verizon MR2. Actually had very few problems with the conversion process. Even got everything working -- including appts on home page (thanks to Max Manila v3) and no MMS hang-up (thanks to a registry hack found in PPC Geeks forum). So far, so good, right?

But wait! Where did my (already-limited) conference calling ability go? (I am talking about 3-way calls on CDMA.) On WM6.1, you had to go through a bunch of secret moves to achieve this. On the Verizon MR1 (WM6.5 Sense 2.1), we had the grown-up TP2 conferencing buttons, even if we were still limited to calling 2 people.

Now, there are fewer buttons, and the "Talk" button doesn't connect a second line. Plus, the original double-secret way of pressing the phone button and dialing the second number doesn't work.

Anybody have any ideas?
