Will Sprint Cover this? - Page 2

I'm with you guys. A birthday party got a bit too crazy this weekend and well... in the morning there were a total of 6 cracks across my screen. It does not effect the functionality of the phone, just a cosmetic thing. and I don't have insurance either

buy a screen on ebay and try to replace it yourself

Hi guys,

In the same boat. My wife cracked the screen on her TP2. We pay the $7/month for TEP insurance.

Should I go to a repair store and see if they'll fix it, or go through Asurion? I'm confused about who covers what.

Also, will there be a $50 (or $100) charge?

I am pretty sure that it's $100 through Asurion, personally I don't get the Insurance as I don't think I have ever destroyed any of my phone's. Now my Wife is a whole different story lol. You could try and take it to a one of the repair stores but I don't think they are going to warranty a cracked screen thats why you have Insurance.

try and get cool with a sprint repair shop i had some scratches on my screen and my dude just swapped out the screen for me took him 10 minutes

yea just head to a repair center and give it a shot, they can tell you your options if they won't/can't fix it

With TEP you can just take it to a Sprint store - or call customer service (I've had better luck with calling). As for the number of replacements, I think that only applies to replacements due to lost/stolen or physical damage - so if your other replacements were due to defective devices you should be good. It WILL cost you the $100 deductible though.

because you have the $7/month TEP, you have a better chance. just take it in to the nearest sprint repair store and good luck.
