TP2 Won't Load Sense for Hours

im having the same issue, without the email cause, on a touch pro (sprint stock rom)

the kicker is i have the same rom on three phones and only one has the prob.

ive tried reflashing, hard reset even task29 reflash to no avail

I think this issue stems from several variables.
If you go to Settings/Personal Tab/Today and then scroll down you will see a checkbox that says Today Timeout and a selection box to vary the time interval. Basically, if you have this checked after your device is idle/asleep for the selected time interval your device will unload all today items to save power. If you have a lot of emails, sms, mms, and several today items like CHT and Sense and other items that have to load each time when you wake up your device then sometimes it will take quite a while for everything to load. The solution is get rid of excess stuff and it won't bog down or crash. You could uncheck the today timeout but your battery life will suffer.

that sounds plausible for the email issue, but does not apply to me, due to fault before sync (no emails/txts).
mine also seems to affect curtain phones only, as i have several of these, and only probs on some.
