this is great to see... it's just too bad that one guy got in trouble for it when he leaked those screen shots of the 2.5 rom.

Mr. X' Fixed MR2 fixes both SOD ( if you leave your display on when charging ) and the missing task manager. Here.

Well....My TP2 has been hung on SOD all day. Never comes up. Many battery pulls to shut down and attempted restarts. Time to unlock and flash the "Fixed ROM". Let the Flashing begin!

you'll be amazed. Between that and CHT, this phone has turned from a POS to the best phone I've seen yet.

If the bugs get worked out this easily maybe I will cancel my order for the Incredible.

The look and feel of this build is sooooo much nicer than the old one. If these stupid little problems would just get resoved I would be more happy with it.

after installing the cab, you have to go to start-settings-menu-all settings-system-task manager, then click on the button tab and select "end program by tapping X"

Yep, did that. It doesn't even show up as running on the drop down menu from the tsk mgr. On a good note, I am running about 10% lighter on my memory

Well....After a Hard Reset....I'm Hard SPL un-locked now. Phone is charging now while I eat a bite, worked all day on a bag of pretzles and a Mountain Dew..kind of Hungry...lol.

Mr. X, can you help! I spoke with Verizon, they bounced me to HTC and then HTC told me to use another computer to download the MR2 upgrade. So I then used my Netbook (Windows XP) Desktop is Vista Ult.

I downloaded your file first by the way..anywho..I have spent more time than any human should, but in any event..BOTH HTC MR2 and your upgrade (after download) will not let me install. My computer indicates that both files are corrupted? HTC Cust. Serv. even downloaded file from their site and they said they had not problems. I tried this on two different computers to no avail. This is just crazy. I've even uninstalled my Norton's Sercurity. Disabled Firewall too. Can you suggest anything, or can anyone else?

I look forward to anyone's help & support with this strange problem.
Oh, my HTC touch pro 2 is running the 6.5 VZW stock rom.

do you have a slow or crappy internet connection? try using a download manager. or your computer is infected with crap. run malwarebytes.org
