So here's a fun one...

I have it loaded and it's working great, and looking great
EXCEPT
The "Settings" tab and button come up blank, and then freeze every other tab, too. Have to restart or soft reset to get it working again, but same thing happens if I try to open "Settings". Happens on the Home screen if I try to hit Menu--> "Personalize Home Screen Tabs". Everything else works, and it boots just fine, but it's hard to get the phone configured without the "Settings" menu available.

Not sure if this is related, but I am often, but not always, getting a "#777 is unavailable" Error when powering off.

Any ideas???

if you didnt dump and try to rebuild then you either got a bad flash or something you installed is messing with you.
Try a hard reset and see if that cures your problem.

First link is geared at Wm6.5 S2.5 on SPRINT. Which most know that Sprint and Verizon do not share a lot of similarities when it comes to ROM's.

2nd Link is great. Just what I was looking for (LongPress End Key Replacement that is customizable).

Is there any tweak / hack to get the people tab back to the Sense 2.1 version?

I really mis having 1 person and at the bottom of there picture, all the choices to contact them.

Or is there a way to make a single People Entry in the 2.5 People Tab do the same function?

Really do not want multiples of the same person just so I can quickly send them an email or phone call or text message.

I installed the newest cookie mod and my phone did the sleep of death every time after that so I uninstalled it. So annoying. I guess I'll just live with no calendar on the home screen for now.

Use 1.7, thats what im still using. Dont like the bugs in 1.8

Im going to be cooking a "fixed" version of the verizon MR2 for you guys, so far its going to be stock, except i will be ficing the boot issue, Putting in wifi router and task manager and making sure the rom is tethering fixed and stealth.
