The "Settings" tab and button come up blank, and then freeze every other tab, too. Have to restart or soft reset to get it working again, but same thing happens if I try to open "Settings". Happens on the Home screen if I try to hit Menu--> "Personalize Home Screen Tabs". Everything else works, and it boots just fine, but it's hard to get the phone configured without the "Settings" menu available.

Not sure if this is related, but I am often, but not always, getting a "#777 is unavailable" Error when powering off.

Any ideas???

if you didnt dump and try to rebuild then you either got a bad flash or something you installed is messing with you.
Try a hard reset and see if that cures your problem.
