I mean free ram for active running programs (labeled as "program memory" under task manager) does not increase so much, probably no more than 20-30 mb.

The additionally 100mb increase with mighty rom compared to stock is the "storage memory"... that you can install programs to...

Pretty much carrier bloat ware, it's all able to be reinstalled in cab form and most all of it is available to download on the first page of his thread, things like nascar, Sprint TV, NFL, stuff along those lines.

Re: Should I stick with stock ROM (6.5) ?

ha i might add in here that we put the lead rom on one of the other tech's phones at sprint and he likes it because its fast and stable. too many people dont like 6.5x rom's because there are a few windows bugs in it. if you like the stock and wanna fast stable one, Lead Rom in CDMA Upgrades is one worth checking out!

Actually the windows mobile community is more like a rabbit family than a heard of elk. all it takes is a slight bit of action and next thing you know theres a million of them.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

i dont think there's anything wrong with 6.5. I think problems are more related to manilla. ran mr x since april and been pretty solid. running mobile shell now, and I think its the best setup I've ever had.

Re: Should I stick with stock ROM (6.5) ?

If I may be so bold to suggest a rom; I've only tried about 5 so far, and I'm hooked, but my favorite so far is: BigMaxSense. Mighty, Energy and Icey were are phenominal also. I just recently began flashing, and I had 6.5 for several months. I highly suggest you try it out.
