How to lock volume buttons while phone is locked?

Sure. Here's the system info right off the device
Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional
OS ver: 5.2.21889 (21889.5.0.87)
ROM 2.04.651.4
Manilla version: 2.5.20121324.1 3/6/2010

The ROM on the device was flashed at a Sprint store. It's not a cooked ROM. It is an official release by HTC (March, 2010).

May I ask that you include the 'post number' where the updated CAB will be located in your next reply ?
(Screen Off when Locked is in #37) It simply makes it easier to locate in the pages of this thread. I don't see the old CAB for Unlock to home screen, so I am not sure where the new CAB will be.

Sorry didnt see this post xP and all my updated cabs are on the FIRST post . i just add a new post to bump up the thread . but you are running stock so i shall look into that , i'll flash and try everything myself thanks

Did you take out the old CAB for Unlock to home screen from post #37, the thread with the 'time delay script'?
I see that script but nothing else?
Am I looking in the wrong place?

Well, to answer my own question........YES I was!

elesbb, Now I need to know if the CAB posted there, is the updated one with the longer delay time, or is it the initial one that I tried already?

Not to worry. Now that I know in which thread it is located , I will look for your reply and/or check the date on the script.
Get to it when you can. Let me know if there is any further information you need from me. If I think of any app that might conflict, I'll let you know but very few run all the time, except system processes.

i havent updated yet sorry man (or girl) lol . but do you have anything special installed that changes the home screen ?

Not that I know. The only things I added are Lock Device, and your Screen off when Locked script.

The Home screen has the stock addons: Weather, Appointment line, and program icon boxes, status bar and soft keys. I kept this device stock to make it a bit easier to troubleshoot conflicts.

Oh, and I am me.........I mean HE.

Be nice now. Remember I'm old fashioned and stock! I did flash a cooked 6.5 ROM on the Vogue, and although it had some nice features, and less bloatware than stock, it had too many conflicts with apps that I needed to install, and the developer was no longer around to patch it up.
Except for the small issues, one of which your script helped eliminate, the TP2 isn't really bad.
Kind of pretty actually.

The stock ROM uses the slider to get back to Home, or I can X the functions to close to go back the long way, or tap a hard key. I also found a HOME lnk in the Start screen.

But your going to show me a better way.......Right?
