Re: oil slick

Time to try out some different ROMs!

I've only tried MightyROM. Might give Blackout a try.

Any suggestions?

Aaron

If I was not running Mighty's I would be using the one below.

Not sure. I'm assuming Mighty's was 2.5? Mighty seemed to run kind of slow on my machine.

Thanks! I might try that one out. I've only flashed once before, and I liked how easy the Mighty ROM installed with all the provisioning and carrier stuff right there. I need to make sure whichever one I try is as easy to install.

Question: I used the unlocker once, but I assume I'll have a diff ESN with the new phone. Will the unlocker work again, or will I need to 'donate' to make it work with the new phone?

Thanks!

Aaron

Aaron, contact them via their support channel and let them know you got a new phone. They should be able to reissue you the unlocker.

Re: oil slick

With my replacements that I've received, I had to donate for it to work with one 2 of my replacements, yet one of my replacements worked fine with no donation. Usually you will need to donate, but I guess I didn't have to that one time. Not sure why. Either way, if you need to donate, its only between $5-10....so it won't break the bank haha. It's well worth it for the unlocker though

I tried this with my first replacement and they were unable to get it working for me. It's worth a try though definitely
