Re: People have trouble hearing me

I have an odd issue that is similar, and it seems to only affect when I call a call center type place. I will call Cox support or another business call center and they can't hear me at all. I'll immediately call anyone else and it works, then call the call center again and once again it doesn't work. What would be different about a call center phone system that would make my mic not work? Or is it some amazing coincidence?

Re: People have trouble hearing me

I haven't tried updating the Radio or PRL yet. Data is disabled on my phone so I haveto find a way to do it manually. I'm using the the radio included in the Sprint 6.5 rom.

Re: People have trouble hearing me

I am having similar problems. Have only had the phone about 6 weeks (replacement for TP), it has done it since I got it, getting worse in the last 2 weeks. Took it in for repair today, they told me it was dust from my pockets getting in the mic hole. I am thinking BS. Guess I will give it a few days.

Re: People have trouble hearing me

Crazy questions here, but I gotta ask

Are you talking to people using the handset only? If you are using a headset, I would try another one before panicking.

If you are using just your handset, are you talking to people on speakerphone?

Does the Auto Volume Control have anything to do with this?
