im so with you on this, we dont agree often but big +1 on this. i can get the evo very cheap too and played with it but theres some issues i cant deal with.

the evo is sweet and hdmi mini port is cool but some stuff like tethering and the sling issue is huge for me. im gonna try to wait it out and see whats around the corner. im not under contract so i can call the shots for once.

Yea, Skyfire works for me but it's not the same as having true live TV from a Slingbox.
