Thats how mine has always been. I did think it was strange. Using the stock rom.

@ w7.. naah, its supposed to be 5, not 3... i thought it was supposed to be like that too until i did a hard reset a few weeks ago and afterwards, i had 5 columns in landscape. now, its back to 3. naah, i didnt install any start menu cabs prior to this. now i have to scroll almost twice as much to get to the bottom of the list. i have no idea what causes it to switch from 5 columns to 3, but its happened to me twice

nd out what my issue is i think. can someone post the original StartMenu_GridScene_800x480.cpr file from their windows folder? i tried to edit it and make it back 5 columns, but a whole bunch of jibberush and symbols come up after i save what ive edited.... so can someone help me out and post that .cpr file?

YAY! i fixed it... i did not know you could edit files directly from total commander. i used to change the filename extension in order to open it in notepad, the change the extension back when i was done editing. now i find out total commander does all of this for me. so i changed columns back to 5. i still have no idea how this was changed in the first place... here is a screenshot of how its supposed to be.
