I would try and keep your inbox as light as possible, same with Text messages, did not ask that but once you get a few hundred of those both it can lead to problems, I would recommend just syncing the last 2 week and if you have a ton of text's clean them out or archive them.
Problem 1 there is no real solution for, its completely random it seems to who it happens to and there is no real fix for it. it just happens or it doesn't.
Problem 2 have you tried a hard reset to see if that clears up the issue? sounds like a possible bad flash.
Problem 3 just sounds like you need to do some cleanup in your e-mail.
