Hooking the phone up to the computer

easiest way to reformat a memory card is to hook it directly to a computer or if you have another device that takes micro, the device should make you format the card for that specific device.

if you format the card using an app on the device, your gonna lose all the info on it...

best case is put the card into the adapter that came with it, pop it in your comp or card reader... copy the files to your comp, goto your drive directory, right click the drive your sd card now is and format to FAT32..

then re-sync the files over.. dont just copy/paste them back onto the card

I did all that but everytime i was putting it in the computer my computer would freeze or wouldnt open it up...i fixed it though..oddly by putting it in my cousins blackberry and it repaired it then i put it in the computer and reformatted it..now its working again.

edit: i didnt care about losing the info that was on the card..i just wanted it to work again..lol but thanks for all the help guys.
