how do I upgrade to wm65

Hey I have a tp2 with wm 6.1 but I cant get activesynce to see the phone. I reloaded, master reset, kicked it, and every thing else I can think of. How do I load wm6.5 on it without connecting it to the PC? Sprint wonr replace the phone cause they say the phone got wet, but just the battery did when it wasnt in the phone. So takeing the phone back is not an option. Any clues?
