Wanna make $20? Help a Noob!

yep. tried on an XP and a Vista. Run as administrator. I think the promblem I am having is the PCs not recognizing the device when in bootloader (thats why it only says serial) or not finding the .nbh file ( thats why the screen pops up that says No image file!) I have a really bad feeling this may actually be a hardware issue but Im ****ed cause I cant turn it in cause I cant re-lock it and thus cant go to Sprint since my device is not in warranty due to the unlock! poop. Any one know the file path that tries to find the .nbh file?

Hmmm I turned my TP1 into USCC with it unlocked, but it had the stock ROM in it. (forgot to lock it ) But a year later, never heard a thing from them. Oh well maybe that is one difference between USCC and Sprint.

Verify that the .NBH file has the correct extension. make sure you dont have .NBH.NBH or that its missing the extension altogether.

AHH! I was so excited I tried to open the file on my phone and it said RHODIMG.nbh.nbh so I changed it to RHODIMG so it would be RHODIMG.nbh ( yea confusing) but anyways, resetted to bootoader and!...nothing still flashes the screen thats says:
loading...


no image file!

I know what you mean about removing the extensions completely.

Did you just use the regular File Explorer? I only ask because I've had this exact same issue before, and it actually removed the entire extension so the filename was "RHODIMG" with no extension. I would check with Total Commander as it displays the file extension for every file. If the extension is gone, use TC to rename the file to "RHODIMG.nbh"

Yea, I opened the SD card in Total Commander and it still showed the RHODIMG as just RHODIMG.nbh. So its not that...shit. And yes everyone Im serious about the $20 I will paypal it to you

LOL! Man I just wanna help you out so you can get back to enjoying your phone!

Did you format the SD card to FAT32? It will not work on just FAT or NTFS.

EDIT* Formatting the SD will totally wipe the SD card clean, so make sure you back it up first!!!

I know you've already tried flashing from sd, but here's a link to an app created by Wideawake that will flash from your sd. As noted earlier, make sure your sd card is formatted FAT32, d/l the .nbh to the root of the sd card, no folder, nothing, put it in the root, run this app and let it do it's thing, see if that helps at all. Alright, tryed it, and no success. My device obvioully cannot find the .nbh image file because even using that app to find it and set the extension and everything that white screen still popped up that said:
Loading...


No image file!

****. I think I need to figure out the path the phone is taking to look for the image file? or possibly a really good way to mess up the phone and take it in to Sprint for a free new one? Haha
