Re: tomtom lag ever fixed?
I have gotten very good results by using
strra ttn7.916.9192_vga_black tweaked.cab (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NDLQX1MN) and GpsModDriver_151.cab you need to go into GPS settings in Tomtom and set as other bluetooth on com3. It's just interpolated positioning, but it works very well. I have no more issues with Tomtom now. Good luck! Last edited by rwmetz3; 05-08-2010 at 09:14 PM. |

Re: tomtom lag ever fixed?
If by lag you mean you make a turn around a corner and tom tom still
shows you sitting at the stoplight you are now 2 blocks away from, then yes. I solved mine simply by using tt7 910.9185 VGA Black cab. it's a little older than some options, but newer is not always better.

Re: tomtom lag ever fixed?
just tried both cabs listed in this tread, and strra ttn7.916.9192_vga_black tweaked.cab is better than the other 9185 posted.
not perfect, but a lot less lag. looks like i'll be carrying my old htc touch for tomtom |

Re: tomtom lag ever fixed?
If you use the gpsmod driver from the earrlier post and set tomtom to recieve on com 3, it appears almost dead on except on a sharp corner it will overshoot turn then snap back on abot a second later. Use it almost every day with no problems. Give it a shot.
