sprint stock 6.5 issues lately.

i've been using 6.5 for awhile now...and my main issue is again, the freezing; if i leave my phone alone and i recieve a text (which is set to vibrate and a short alert noise) it will vibrate until i physically pick up the phone and hit the power button to light up the screen. i also txt alot, prob. more than the average person, and i notice if i leave my phone open on a text then try to get back to home it will stay frozen, until i soft reset...it's not making me regret installing it...just annoying as ever sometimes...that combined with the late messages/ voicemails tells me i need to call sprint to maybe get my account situated...but i'm in no mood for that lol

that sucks, you may want to try hard reseting once. Some people have reported that doing this after installing the lastest release helped. so install new stock rom which you did already, then clear storage. You will need to backup your test messages and other important stuff in device memory, but it will work more smoothly then. Also, you may want to consider a custom rom in the upgrade forum. There are a few roms based off the latest shipped that perform better and address some of the freezing issues. Good luck.

Here are the cabs, all of these have worked on my tp2without crashing ill effects (I am supergluing down the system a la Linux and not mess with it):

QM_TP2_battery... (install first... gets 1%... there are others)
jd Taskmaseter (install this second gets HTC Taskbar old)
PurianS Tsowen taskbar (do this third... colored taskbar icons)

Manila Disable Clockflipping

Spoon Torch flashlight

device Lock Left key

In terms of software I have Sprite Backup and Terminator (Backup and remote hard reset in case phone stolen)
Paragon French Dictionary, rather old 5.0 version but works
Google Maps, Iguidance Europe and Delorme Street Atlas GPS software

Thats it.... memory generally runs at 70-75%. I stuck with the installed browser and media players. I was not happy with side-effects of others. I download podcasts to my PC and sync them rather that directly downloading.

The only real issue is my screen being in standby, and when I press the power standby button on the top of the phone, nothing happens...no screen, nothing. If I press any other keys I still don't get anything. The only response I get from the phone is when I take out the stylus, but only the lights come on at the bottom of hte phone. A soft reset fixes it, but I'm confused to whats causing it. I don't have any cabs installed other than the update to Microsoft Myphone and maybe google maps. Running stock 6.5 Rom on Sprint TP2. Anyone think this is a issue within the 6.5 build?

It turns on the screen bright white. I have it set to one of the soft buttons on the bottom of my screen. Not as bright as the Mogul, but better than pitch dark.

Main thing is these cabs do not seem to destroy my phone and it still runs fast with plenty of memory.
