Re: Screen fade timer

hmm my changes seemed a little diff so i'll just throw in a little commentary and what i did for you bc it was a little confusing for me. We don't care about AC levels bc I would assume you change these because you want to save battery life so my focus is on Battery levels

I'm running wm 6.5.1 if it matters with Vin's Neodium v9

First thing I did was check mark under backlight settings on your phone: Dim backlight and Turn off device(mine were 10 seconds and 1 minute respectively)
*Afterwards, do not change and save or else you will reset your registry edits**

For the amount of time until your phone dims:
HKEY_CurrentUser\ControlPanel\Backlight
I changed BatteryTimeout batterytimeoutunchecked (don't ask me what this one does i dunno) to 7 sec for 7 seconds till dim

For amount of time until your phone goes to sleep:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power\Timeouts

I BELIEVE Battsuspendtimeoutsave is the one you chose under your settings and Battsuspendtimeout is how long until it actually turns off.

For example I want it to turn off after 25 sec so I changed timeout to 25 and left the timeout save at 60( 1 minute )

note: i did not mess with battresumingsuspendtimeout and do not know what it does but it is at 30...

If the screen doesn't turn off at the amount of time you wanted at first, turn off the screen and then turn it back on and then try. I just tried mine and it didn't work at first but then i turned the screen off and on and it worked, weird

Sorry if any of this is false or the long way. Please let me know otherwise or educate me. It's also been a while so if it doesn't work lmk and I'll do some researching on my phone to see what i did
