Official sense 2.5 ui for verizon on HTC website??

sorry to double post, but with mighty and mr x they have custom themes to change alot of colors and icons with one .cab. you cant do that with stock.

As mentioned, there are custom roms that are very stable (as much or more than stock). The most popular (for a good reason) is MightyROM. It's a custom rom that is as close to stock as possible, without all the unnecessary add-ons that the stock rom has to slow the phone down. It looks exactly like stock, but runs faster and has better power management (battery life). I've never had the screen freeze, or reason to hard reset with that one. There are others that are really good as well that we can discuss, but I imagine it would have to be in another thread, or through PM's.

Edit: You can change animated background to weather background if you so like. Also, it looks even more like stock, and the start menu doesn't come with the folders in the video, he went with the stock 2.5 start menu icons which you can change to look like the folders in the video with a cab from Ziggy (on the 1st page of the MightyROM thread)

Hmmm... Could someone send me a link or a PM on how to use a custom ROM? I did do some searching about MightyRom and am a bit confused when /how/if to use things like "HSPL Unlocker" and the "Task29.exe" internal memory formatter.

Ok, i finally got tired of waiting too, overcame my fear (with the help of davidetkin and mighty mike himself) and flashed to mightyrom last night. My 1st custom rom and very happy so far!

acOx...Mike explained to me that the task29 is to clear out the chip that the rom is stored on but is really only necessary if you flashed multiple roms before. If this is your 1st custom rom you dont have to do it. I did not and like i said it works fine. You do have to do the HSPL unlocker though, but its easy. There are some wonderful people here that could walk you though it like david did for me. Just pm someone.
