How to tether your ipod touch or ipad to the TP2
I found a couple sites that explained how to do this so I dont take credit. this one I pulled from Cellphoneforums
Download this file to your phone (either open it up in browser or put it on sd card): http://files.cellphoneforums.net/fil...haring_VGA.cab Go to Start > Comm Manager - turn Wifi off if it is on Run the .cab file Go to Start > All Applications > CM Internet Sharing Confirm settings (change the name or wep key if you want) Click Start in the lower right Follow the on screen instructions was able to sync right up to my ipod. I havent tried my iPud but I bet it works just as well |

yeah and theres no cable you can use so making the tp2 a wifi router is like making your own hotspot.
how else are you suppose to do it? |

isn't this the same Tom Codon wifi sharing cab that is floating around here.
what do you think about the wifi speed if you wanna watch a youtube video on your ITouch for example. ive wanted to try this but just haven;t taken the time. always wanted this with my treo 700wx cause of the screen size

Re: How to tether your ipod touch or ipad to the TP2
I tether my ipod touch to my TP2 all the time with WMWifirouter.
Youtube videos & everything else work just fine. When I am just doing normal quick browsing, I prefer to use Safari & the awesome ipod screen to my TP2/Opera setup. ~John |
