Should go up to 902mhz now.

Gawdamn, can you imagine getting that stable for most people?

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Thanks for whoever cabbed the app up. I havent installed sas I am confused by this thread, it would be helpful if someone could update the first thread, based on my understanding this is what I should do for overclocking:
1. Install net rippers cab on device.
2. Install Mortscript to device or storage..
3. install OC_Auto script to storage card.
questions:
1. Am i missing something or is this right order to install.
2. After installing where would I set these numbers? maybe once I install it it would be just opening an app and type in those numbers but being a n00b I dont know what to do.
3. What is the best number to put in? also will this work for touch pro2 stock 6.5 ROM when not on ac power or when backlight is turned off or when lockscreen is on.

Yes that a proper install procedure. After you install all - look in your programs(depending on ROM -diff procedure but same location) for a program called OC-Auto. Ran that and make desired settings. Here is the example:
1) Would you like to enable Safe mode - Yes
2) Stockspeed then hit OK
3) 90000 - 90 seconds(means when you first boot into the device it will stay at stockspeed(530Mhz) for 90 seconds giving you enough time to adjust the OC speed if previous kept freezing/rebooting, adjust as necessary
4) Apply - Yes
5) Select new speed(this will be the Overclock speed) try at 726Mhz first, and if after reboot and running few of your favorite programs all seems well -increase.
6) Throttle speed - set to 604Mhz - hit OK
7) Poll interval(how often script checks for lockscreen/backlight off) - set to 1000(every second) anything lower will consume more CPU cycles anything over might not notice lockscreen in time and give you SOD - Hit OK
8) Hit YES
The Device will restart and after time set in step 3(if you chose to enable safe mode) will set the speed to the one you chose in step 5. You can check by running Msm7kCpuSpeed in your program folder(same place where you ran Auto_OC from).

Play around and find you max OC speed, if it set to high -lower it while in safe mode after reboot. If set way too high and cant even boot into windows - take out battery, remove storage card, reinsert battery and restart. Since Auto_OC script installed on storage card - booting without it - will set device to stock speed.

Sorry, do I just install the new OC cab over the old one? Thanks in advance!:occasion5:

Perhaps that would work - but why not just uninstall old one and install new one(via settings - remove programs-chose AUTO-OC - hit remove and ok)? It will take about 20seconds more that just installing new one on top(unless you really pressed on time:))

FYI, I installed over the previous one and it prompted that the old version would uninstall first. The CAB was written correctly to do this, so either way will work. :)

Engergy ROM with CHT 8/1
Using Msm7kCPUspeed v2
Dont know what the build date is since I cannot ##786# with this ROM

That is what I got to now about 2 weeks ago without a SOD since then.... I'm using one of the old scripts.

i have been running 768 for ~2 weeks now with 0 SOD/freezes/lockups.

i think it is phone dependent, ROM dependent, and setup dependent.

i run VzW 6.5 MR2 Mr.X fixed ROM.

I agree, probably a little more slanted to build date/quality.
I tried NRG's standard Rom 8/1 release and still cannot get above 729.

Anyway, thanks for making overclocking easy for dummies. I was afraid to try until this weekend when I found your cabs.
