Indeed, I have been with this pretty much from the start and following the issues here and on the Developer's site. It is very confusing.

I am using the old: CSA_M.mscr script and have had no problems except with Sprite backup, which ran fine manually just not on schedule.

Lessons learned:
I cannot run reliable above 729Mhz.
The scripts seem more stable than the program, and I also can modify and understand what goes on in the scripts.
The phone is definitely more snappy with these mods.

Cheers

and how much Activity do you think is going on when the phone is asleep?
how much load is occurring when the phone is asleep?

how come all of us that have been working on this have not noticed any decrease in battery life?

It still checks and updates my 4 email accounts, RSS, weather, facebook, twitter... while asleep. I thought while the phone was asleep though it automatically underclocked itself or something to save power? Anyway it seems like my battery life has been shorter lately, anyone have tips on how to maximize battery life?

dont know if this is due to the overclocking or not, but this has happened to me twice now

when i get a call while talking the screen shuts off, if i try to turn the screen on while talking it will not turn on, if i unplug the phone the amber light stays lit like it's still plugged in, i can still talk, but i have to reset my phone to be able to get back into it

this happen to anyone else, doesn't happen unless i'm talking on the phone, not sure if the 1st time it happened if i had it plugged in or not

This happens to me on every call but I believe it's a known issue with the cab, so try the script...

Has anyone tried using with nueDynamicClock the Overclock app? I remember I used it to underclock my TP1

EDIT: Has anyone found a good benchmarking app that can be used to measure voltage as well?

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

I think that I have this running now :)
  1. I installed Mortscript
  2. I installed OC_Auto4.1_GUI.zip
  3. I disabled all sleep and screen off settings (I can push a button to turn off the screen :))
  4. Set safe mode to 604/5000
  5. set clock to 768/604
  6. set polling to 1200
I have not had one problem with SOD, or freezing, or resetting. :)

How do I prove that the settings have changed? The device information is still displaying the stock settings:scratch:

you didnt need to disable all sleep and screen off settings, the script prevents issues with this.

i assume you installed Netrippers v2 OCing app? because without it, you are not OC'ed right now! to check if your phone is OC'ed, open Netrippers app (dont change anything using it, but you can open it to see your current speed - close after checking speed).

*make sure you guys are installing Netripper's app to your phone (default install location)

I think I did it right because when I open the Mxm7kcpuspeed it say's current speed is at 748.8mhz. It sure does feel alot quicker and snappy opening up programs now.

yup if Msm7kCpuSpeed says you are at 748.8 - you are OC'ed. should feel a LOT snappier
