Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
Nayr1482 thanks for your script. Used yours first cause of ease of install.. but i was wondering if you could add another element for the cpu speed to go higher if it is on ac? or is that already incorporated

I ran some benchmarks on my phone to verify that the OC was working because I cannot notice a difference with Sense or through my daily use.
There are some inconsistencies with the data that I suspect come from running on a live system. I would soft reset, verify CPU speed, run benchmark. <well I can't figure out how to post a table so here is a synopsis> comparing 518.4 to 633.6 ---18.18% Integer ----------19.3% Float ------------18.86% RAM Access ------6.53% Graphics ---------7.79% Enjoy PS. I just attached the file |

how do you know if the overclock is working? I am set to the max, and when i look at the device info, it still says the default speed |

For now, I'm going to put it back to the "safe speed" (604mhz) so hopefully it'll prevent it from happening. I am using Setcpuspeed. Here are the specs causing the SOD. Overclock speed: 710mhz Throttled speed: 604mhz Polling: 200ms |
Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
im using setupcpuspeed 1.0d with 768 running poll of 200 and 614 when sleeping or standby. running perfect. no sod yet. battery ok. running garmin ok as well too.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
I'm curious as to why you overclock even when sleeping or in standby? Why do you care if it is running faster? I have mine set to the slowest speed possible to conserve battery life when suspended, etc.

Everyone keeps talking about saving battery - I dont think underclocking and/or overclocking in this case really affect the battery life. We are not changing voltage applied to the CPU (yet :D ) so should not make much of a difference... |
