Are you using the ENERGY 8/1 Sense ROM without CHT Mod? I'm using the CHT Mod version and can get to 728 before freezing...

Is there a way to get a wiki at the first thread on how to do this and all the files needed.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

just installed the OC with Auto OC script(as per instructions from few pages ago) on fresh ROM flash. Started Msm7kCpuSpeed (didnt set anything or even start OC_Auto_v4.2) and it showed current speed as 691mhz. Shouldnt it be the stock(530)? I didnt set any OC options yet only installed both apps(OC_Auto_v4.2 and Msm7kCpuSpeed ) since mortscript came preinstalled with my ROM. That makes me think - how accurate is Msm7kCpuSpeed's speed estimate? Is there any other app that can show current speed(to verify Msm7kCpuSpeed current speed)?

oc auto runs on boot. the defaults I put in it are the speeds you mention.
it is running =)
run the gui and pick the settings you want.

the app is reading your speed just fine

yeah its the energy sense 2.5, 6.5 rom without CHT and from what i hear its the total luck of the draw how much u can overclock it. it depends on the manufacturing of ur processor some are lucky and can overclock more and some can only overclock a slight amount. from what i hear on the xda thread 710 mhz is the average overclock. i got lucky with a overclock of 806, i heard a guy brag he got it to run at 844 stable.

Ok sounds good, few questions though:
1) Is there any other soft that can tell you the current speed?
2) If i just remove both Auto_OC and Msm7kCpuSpeed from remove programms in settings - will it revert all back to normal(stock speed) or do i need to do something else prior?
3) Auto_OC seems to be limited to 784mhz, while Msm7kCpuSpeed seem to be able to go higher, any reason why? I set it to max(in auto_oc) and ran coreplayer(few tracks) as well as spb benchmarks few times and it seems stable, would like to try a bit higher, for that i have to go directly through Msm7kCpuSpeed then or is there a way to enable higher OC in Auto_OC?

if you uninstall oc auto or remove the shortcut to it in windows/startup and reboot out will be at stock.
I can add higher options (tomorrow).

I am bummed! 806 crashes manilla over and over, makes my phone lag, and then freeze.. Those of you that got 806 running, what rom are you using, and what is the manufacture date of your device?

suggestion: To help everyone achieve max speed (and verify) should we post results in the following format?
1- Max stable battery speed
2- What OC method
3- What ROM
4- Device Manufacture date
