if the store has the part there, theyll fix it and cover it for free... TEP allows for repair work to be done in store... if they dont have it though, which im aassuming they wont.. theyre probably/most likely gonna tell you to call asurion..

if cracked plenty of housing on TP1s and get them repair in store... heres what id do if i were you.. call your local repair shops and see if they have any TP2s that have been claimed for replacement.. ask them since those phones are already about to be shipped back, if one has a clean screen youd like to have yours switched out.. it works, well sometimes.. but this is how i got new housings on TP1s 2 or 3 times.. just be polite and geniune.. explain your only having the phone a few days thing and maybe theyll have some sympathy..

I think it might depend on how generous the tech is that day and the availability of parts. According to the fine print of the TEP contract, physical damage such as cracked screens are supposed to be dealt with my Asurion. That said, I have met techs nice enough to swap out the front face on a phone that I had dropped. I doubt you can get a brand new phone however, but if they have the parts they might be willing to fix it for you for free.

On top of that, because you had your phone for less than 30 days, I believe Asurion is the only one that can handle your phone for now.

sprint store wouldn't even touch it. said call asurian. lol no corporate stores around me ... Called asurian and guy said it was with in 7 day warranty. so free replacement is on the way. As for the gf i think shes feeling pretty guilty about doing it. hopefully lesson learned.

Thats good to hear...good thing it broke on 6th day and not 8th..

But by those marks it looks closer to a cat using it as a scratching post..

you would think but its smooth up top even running your nail it doesn't catch them. she now tells me she went to get out the car with it in her back pocket slipped and fell on her ass in a gravel driveway. well guess where the phone was in her back pocket.from dead on view you cant see them...only when tilted.

Lucky man, Kaos! Asurion is always a good alternative to paying $500 from sprint to buy a new one imho...I can dish out $7 for only a $100 deductible...As for the techs maybe being nice...Most of the techs around me are DOUCHES! I once called a store to see if they could process a ticket number that Sprint told me to contact the stores near me. The dude told me he wasn't gonna bother with it lol.
