[CAB] For Sprint WM 6.5 Sense 2.5 - Add Facebook Tab

It works on my Sprint TP2 on the latest official ROM (wm6.5 with HTC Sense). Two minor bug and two requests:

1) In the Personal Home Screen Tabs changer menu, Facebook name appears but no icon appears to its left and when you are trying to move it in this menu, I see the sprint nav icon assigned to it.

2) In the tab, when I click on menu/facebook app, it opens up the FB app, but it cannot complete the full opening of this app. I think the reason is that I installed the newest version of FB from MS Marketplace, but the FB tab is looking to open the earlier one that remains on the device.

3) Any way to disable FB tab from doing an automatic update until I hit "Update Now"?

4)Any way to get the FB tab to download news feed and status updates of all my FB contacts. For many of my FB contact, I don't have them on my devices contact list so I don't get them the the HTC FB Program.

Ive been running this TAB for a while on mightyromn 6/20 and it has been working but all of a sudden I have 2 errors in the past few weeks:

1. facebook no longer updates on its own. I tried setting to the ORIG 2 hour data setting and also setting the AUTO UPDATE TIMER. at one time I had both checked.. NO auto-update

2. photos from facebook do not display... I get a generic silhouette and no photo.. the only way to get photos is to set each contact to use the photo in CONTACTS (not facebook) and then I use another program I purchased from the APP STORE to grab contact photos and that works..

any ideas of how to fix???

Good news everyone:

I have found this CAB from meltwater who originally came up with the Facebook tab. The CAB is the provides a detailed settings menu that solves plenty of the problems that people have had with the FB tab. I have tested it on my own Sprint TP2 running on Sprint Lovers ROM, and it works great, and it does uninstall as well. You must first install FB tab as provided in the our thread here by chris 1608, and then while Sense is off, install the CAB for settings menu of FB tab. Softreset and enjoy. For your convenience I am posting the CAB here.

i accidentally deleted the facebook tab in htc sense and now sense won't work. I am stuck in windows default. please help what do i do?

On stock Sprint TP2 ROM, followed directions, and the facebook tab comes up, but the registry key HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration does not reboot. So I have no menus. Help please. I really don't want to hard reset.

Did you follow these instructions to uninstall?

DIRECTIONS TO UNINSTALL:
1. Disable HTC Sense
2. Uninstall Facebook Tab
3. Delete \Windows\ManilaFull.xml
4. Delete registry key in bold - HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration
5. Restart and re-enable HTC Sense

Followed the directions for install... I have to uninstall via Window Mobile Device Center.

Did you get data to connect with any program on your device? Can you connect with Internet Explorer or Firefox or some other browser?
