But then again I am kinda tired of WM and their pathetic attempt at an apps store. Who knows, I might have to jump ship to the Android super demon after all, but I guess time will tell.
I you like the size of the TP2 and the keyboard, you might as well stick with the it then and hope they complete the Android port. Then you will have the best of both worlds.

For me the TP2 is just to thick of a device. I don't mine the size of the EVO being that is at least thinner. Although might change my mind after actually holding one and seeing what it looks like on a belt clip.....

I agree with you on both things you said. It would be amazing to have android on the TP2 (and I know, it would then be similar to the Moment, but I'm not sure if I can ever have a non-HTC phone). And I also agree that the TP2 does seem a little thick at times. But then again when I use it with one hand and press the power button, I usually have to readjust the phone in my hand to reach any of the hard keys at the bottom. It makes me wonder if I would ever be able to use the EVO with one hand. Maybe I should try to play around with an HD2 and get a feel of the size.

Re: staying with my tp2!

I'm sticking with my TP2 for sure. None of the upcoming devices excite me (the lack of a hardware keyboard is bringing them all down), and with the newest Mightyrom, my TP2 is definitely fast and stable enough to suit my needs.

For now, I have the perfect phone. In order for me to get a new phone is:

1) People will have to complain enough to force Microsoft to make WP7S open-source.
2) THEN a WP7S phone with a good hardware keyboard has to come out.

Until then, I'll pass on the new phones =).

Re: staying with my tp2!

I <3 my TP2. I will probably keep it until at least 4-6 months after EVO is out. I am already upgrade eligible as I am "Premier", but I wanna see what peeps can do with the EVO first.

it's like you read my mind, if something new comes out that I really like, ill just add a 2nd line with a 1 year contract.

ive done this in the past and it has worked out good...so far

Re: staying with my tp2!

i'm curious to see if sprint throws a 4g network fee onto the monthly plans.
i'm gonna wait it out. sprint promised a dozen 4g devices by the end of the year. (which is when my discount kicks back in)
