Re: staying with my tp2!
I like the TP2 and its world phone capability is cool. I do wish the processor was a bit better and 4g of course...
Evo while no keyboard is looking tempting as there will be 4g in my area and there is already 4g in places I visit often :/.. They need a Tegra phone already >.> Otherwise I find TP2 meets needs fairly well and even if I get a new phone I will probably use it here and there.

They have some great apps and everything is really quick to get to. There is just something fun about that is really hard to explain and that WM just lacks. Plus, with WM 6.5 coming to the end of it's shelf life, might as well go with something that is just booming with developers. It can only get better. And once the Evo is released, all I have to say is it is going to be WOW! Those specs are what the TP2 should have been released with, instead of just a little bump up for a TP. |

Re: staying with my tp2!
I'm still new to the smartphone world. this is my first, and i still find the tp2 to be a goal-mine. now, if and when i outgrow it, i will be looking for the next best thing(for me) on t-mobile. but learning about its os has got me interested in computers again. it doesnt freeze, shut down, or drop calls. and the keyboard is sweet!

Re: staying with my tp2!
The Evo and the no keyboard thing won't be an issue for me. Swipe for the win. Or the cootek touchpal if they have that for android.

Re: staying with my tp2!
I love my TP2 so far, especially the keyboard. Not a huge fan of swype, but I use it every now and then since I know thats likely what I'll use if I get the EVO. I might stick with TP2 even when the EVO comes out for a few reasons: 1) Not on one of the unlimited plans with sprint, so I would have to change plans just to get the EVO (and ironically pay quite a bit more for what I already have), 2) I think I might miss the keyboard (Considering how much I hated texting on my Diamond), and 3) I think that the EVO might be a little too big, I like the size of my TP2 (not too big or too small, it is just right, like Goldilocks would say)
But then again I am kinda tired of WM and their pathetic attempt at an apps store. Who knows, I might have to jump ship to the Android super demon after all, but I guess time will tell. |

Re: staying with my tp2!
I will say typing on the Sprint Hero is not so easy. I even recalibrate the keyboard! Maybe it is just a learning curve or something the EVO will fix with the bigger screen.
