[Sprint] Backup and restore Apps/tweaks with upgrading from WM6.1 to WM6.5 ?

I have the Sprint stock ROM WM 6.1 and have spent quite a lot of time tweaking a lot of things on my phone, and installing a lot of applications.

I use SPB backup. Is there a way I can backup my phone, upgrade to WM 6.5 and restore my backup so that I do not have to go through the painful process of re-installing everything back on my phone?

No. Its it not recomended to restore a backup from a different O.S. Although SPB backup does have a rom upgrade mode, more than likely you will encounter lots of issues.

I did just that with Sprite Backup using merge level 1 and frankly, I was disappointed, ending up with 13mb free.

I concur, I tried merge level 1 and it was a frickin' nightmare.

I ended up hard resetting, which, amazingly also cleared up more memory after a second hard reset, and reinstalled stuff from scratch. LOTS simpler.

I just posted a message on their forum at get satisfaction, which by the way, is THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE board to find. You have to click "Leave a comment" and then click one of the messages shown. There is NO way to get to their forums otherwise. Not even shown on their sitemap. They hide behind, "We don't host this" well, why the hell do they answer on it then?

Great, i didnt wanna create another for this because i know this was answer before but i cant find it on the search bar.

I have apps install on my storage card and i would like it to show on the list of apps so i can add it on the shortcut. I remember it was like copying the files and add them it to program files? am i right?

Sorry, are you asking about making shortcuts to applications on you storage card or are you asking about the Sprite issue?
