i do have clues. ill attempt anything. should i be scared? i asked for help. i didnt ask for someone to talk me away from the edge. if you asked me how to destroy the transmission in your car i can certainly help you but you know as well as i do you shouldnt.


its ok. i got it all figured out and pretty much where i want it. only issue is randomly restarting by iitself as it just did as i was typing it.

i have a new dilemma. i put sxradio on the phone last night, listened to it with earbuds this morning at gym and since i pulled buds out of phone it thinks i am still plugged in but no sounds from speaker or earspeaker at top of phone. i tried pulling battery and plugging them back in then out and now nothing

in my experience, WNMO, if you want problems, and look for them, they are ALWAYS there. Otherwise, you can look for fixes. If you phone constantly hard resets on stock rom, take it in, swap it out, bring proof.

Yea thats a problem with the delicate pins inside the 3.5....it seems as dough not even one of the key features if the phone can work right..dont get me wrong, I LOVE MY TP2 and am 110% for it...theres a few threads out there about this...ive read in multiple places that Hard-Resets/Rom Flashing fixes the problem...ive also read that some pins get so messed up that the phone thinks it has a headphone pluged in 24/7...not much help but my 2 cents

and if you have sprint, in my case sprint always has my back...if u know how to rephrase things right, im pretty sure it shouldt be too hard to get it replaced at a store...tell them the phone randmoly turns off or that it overheats triggering shut down..that should be enought to get a refurbished phone

Mind sharing some links to this. I have that problem but not constantly. Maybe two or three times a day the headset kicks on and I have to put my finger on the usb jack and move it around so it comes off. It doesn't seem like a software thing as I've reflashed many roms since this has been happening and it still is the same problem. I'll try to do some searching on this forum. I don't really want to open my phone to fix it either

i figured out the 3.5mm jack. no worries.

it did the hard reset once i believe. basically due to freezing up. it restarts at random times and i have no idea how i would prove it.

now one other thing that never happened until i started adding apps and did the 2016 fix is when sound/volume is on and i recieve email or text/mms there is a voice that states who its from and what it says. i went into notifications and disabled all notifications for messages and it still does it. i hate it and want it to stop. any help??

I posted earlier in this thread how to fix the reset issues. Just flash the USC radio or any other none Sprint radio..that did the trick for me.
